Pichano acquires Fromells VIP-Teknik AB

Pichano has today signed an agreement to acquire Fromells VIP-Teknik AB. The company has 25 employees and operates in workshop premises of 4000 m2 on Svetsarvägen 4 in Timrå. Fromells is engaged as a complete production partner in terms of designs as well as system deliveries. Fromells is a supplier of heavy machinery, track-based traffic, sawmills, pulp and paper, power and power industries.

Pichano is located in Husum, Härnösand, Sundsvall and Gävle. Since founded in 2007, Pichano has been active in industry, infrastructure and with full service services in manufacturing, service and maintenance. The group also includes SuncoTech AB with bale handling products and conveyor products. For Pichano, the acquisition means complementing its existing operations with a strong engineering partner with modern machinery.

The acquisition is another step in Pichano’s strategy to become a major supplier of industrial services, maintenance and infrastructure along the Norrland coast. The Pichano Group, with its headquarters in Sundsvall, has a turnover of approximately MSEK 130 and has 100 employees and is now a renowned engineering industry group.
